Repair a troubled graphics card

Did your graphics card have a problem?

1

if your computer had a graphics card when you first bought it then just keep that card up to date. Graphics cards require you to download updates sometimes to improve the card's performance. Downloading updates are very important for your card to ensure they run at their best.

If you have a bit of a old PC and you replaced your old card for a more modern card, there are a few issues that can occur while installing a new card in a outdated PC.

In some cases your PC may be too old to put a new card in it. As you may have noticed most cards out these days are PCI express. If your computer is a bit outdated your computer won't have this kind of slot for a card. How may you go about fixing this? Well, it's a bit of a long process. You would need a new (modern/up to date) motherboard and possibly a new power supply. These new cards are no joke and they can require a big power supply to run upon them. A good enough supply is needed to run and the card must have enough power to run.
If you have a computer that is a bit old you may be better off building a new PC or buying a new one. culled from wikihow
